Dog spots new kitten struggling up stairs, how he “helps” her has mom running for the camera

You’ve probably heard the idiom “fight like a cat and dog.” It implies that cats and dogs simply just do not get along. But that’s not the case in this household! Meet Tennyson the German Shepherd, also known as Tenny by his human loved ones. He is so excited to have a new sibling! But his sibling isn’t a Shepherd like him. He isn’t even a dog! That’s right, his new pal is a kitten!

Mom is recording the new baby kitten learning to climb the stairs, when Tenny suddenly pops into view. He sniffs his new furry sibling as the little one struggles to scamper up the stairs. Mom verbally shoos Tenny away and tells him to “No, let him do it himself.” The black and white baby scoots up a couple of stairs but is still having a wee bit of trouble mounting the steps. The kitten pauses for a bit on a step alongside the wall, and that’s when Tenny decides he needs to intervene. He apparently doesn’t have the patience for this cute kitten’s slowness right now.

Tenny has grown weary of waiting and reaches his muzzle down to help the kitten, but the baby shrinks backward a bit, likely intimidated by his big brother’s giant teeth and mouth. But then Tenny tries again and manages to get a gentle grip on his new sibling’s entire head! He then steadily climbs the rest of the staircase with the kitten getting a free ride the whole way. But it’s what Tenny does at the top of the stairs with his little sib that has the internet chuckling. Check out this impatient German Shepherd’s antics in the video below, and prepared to be awed by their cuteness.

Humans attempt to do a christmas card photoshoot with their husky, and the result is just too funny

We’ve all had the feeling at some stage when try as we might, the Christmas spirit just isn’t coming. This appears to be the case for famously grumpy Siberian husky Anuko, judging from the results of his festive photoshoot.

With Anuko however, looks can be deceiving. “He has a dark black mask around his face that makes him look that way. It runs in his family,” his owner Jasmine told Rasplove. His surly, steely expression isn’t down to any kind of innately grumpy character, quite the opposite in fact. He is actually a very relaxed and kind dog who shows a great enthusiasm for the fun things in life. “He’s mostly chilled out, very quiet. He’s not overbearing so doesn’t like cuddles that much, but if you leave the room he will follow. He’s like my little shadow and he intervenes when he sees necessary – something that’s benefited me a lot regarding my mental health” Jasmine told us.

Jasmine found Anuko aged just 5 weeks old, as she was struggling at the time with mental health issues and heard that many like her had benefited from getting a dog. The pair bonded immediately and Anuko has played a huge part in her recovery and wellbeing. “When I got him I was quite suicidal and depressive, I didn’t have any friends or a job and I’d quit school. I lived my life in bed, practically,” she told us. “Thank goodness he came into my life because without him I’d probably still be in bed, or worse. He encouraged me to get out – the fresh air and so many hours outdoors with him did me a lot of good.”

While Anuko may appear to resent the very concept of Christmas, he actually doesn’t find it so bad. We did however share a genuinely miffed moment of Anuko’s a couple of years back, when realising he’d been tricked into believing Jasmine had thrown him a ball. The pics went viral and have changed Jasmine’s life completely, she now runs several social media and webpages dedicated to Anuko and to huskies in general. “I run a website called Snowdog Guru, where I help other Snowdog owners,” she told Rasplove. “They’re a unique breed and come with a lot of responsibility. Because of my expanding website though, I made the decision that I wanted to go to vet school which I’m applying for this year. None of it would’ve happened without him coming into my life.”

So it appears that no matter how grumpy Anuko seems to be on the outside, he and Jasmine could not be happier in each other’s company and the story really illustrates the power of the bond between human and animal. Owner who dumped pit bull on the streets for peeing in the house confronted

Pit bulls have a bad reputation for being mean and aggressive, but that is not true for a lot of them, who are just as kind and loving as other dogs.

In an episode of Pit Bulls & Parolees, the team was called in about a pit bull that was thrown over a fence by its own owner.

The owner claimed that he threw away the dog because he peed on his Xbox One, not because he was being aggressive, violent, or threatening.

Thankfully, this pit bull will now be given a better life by people who will love him! Watch a video about this below!
