Still shaken from the trauma of being kidnapped by Owen (Wes Ramsey), Stephanie reacted in fear and fired at the person coming in. Thankfully, even with her training, Stephanie missed.
Joy has every reason to be furious. She can’t stop thinking about what might have happened if Kelsey had been there with her. Alex, however, is not thrilled by the idea of the mother of his child filing charges against his wife. So he tries to convince Joy that this was an isolated accident and something that is unlikely to ever happen again.
At the same time, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) do everything they can to keep Stephanie steady. They may know deep down that their daughter is responsible for what happened, but they also understand that the consequences could be serious.
