Gabi and Gwen Discover the Ideal Revenge Partner
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is furious with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), Xander (Paul Telfer), Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), and practically everyone else around her. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) is equally angry with Xander, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), EJ, Tony (Thao Penghlis), and most of Salem as well.
Neither woman has many close female friends right now. To be honest, neither of them has many genuine friends of any kind. That makes it perfectly understandable that they would begin spending more time together. It also makes sense that they would compare notes, combine their ideas, and start plotting against the people who crossed them. Their enemies may never see the retaliation coming!
Alex Puts Fatherhood Ahead of Keeping Stephanie Happy
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is determined to become the best possible father to Kelsey, and part of that responsibility means standing beside Kelsey’s mother, Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins). Stephanie (Abigail Klein) insists that she also wants to be a supportive stepmother to Kelsey. She claims she is deeply sorry for shooting Kelsey’s mother, criticizing Alex for immediately rushing to Joy’s side, and deleting the voice message revealing that Joy and Kelsey had been involved in a car accident.
However, while Stephanie and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) complain about how unfair their lives feel because other people refuse to behave exactly as they expect, Alex continues supporting Joy. Naturally, his decision will probably leave Stephanie feeling even more irritated and resentful than before.
Belle and Chad Finally Solve Part of the Puzzle
Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad (Conner Floyd) have spent several exhausting days following clues connected to Stefano’s latest mystery, and their determination finally begins producing results. The pair reaches an important turning point in the investigation, suggesting they may be closer than ever to discovering exactly what Stefano left behind.
It remains unclear whether their latest discovery will provide a long-awaited answer or simply lead them toward several new questions. Either way, their search is clearly exposing secrets that someone worked very hard to keep hidden and buried forever.
Leo Refuses to Allow Javi to Move Forward
Leo (Greg Rikaart) previously attempted to use his head injury as a way to regain Javi’s (Jacob Martinez) attention. Unfortunately for Leo, the plan failed. However, giving up has never been one of Leo’s strengths. When he later spots Javi spending time with Gus (Michael Ocampo), Leo immediately finds a way to redirect the entire situation back toward himself.
Javi clearly continues to have a vulnerable spot when it comes to Leo. Gus, however, appears far less sympathetic. Could Gus finally be the person willing to tell Leo that it is time to disappear and leave Javi alone?
