Xander Gets Support Before He Turns a Crisis Into an Even Bigger Disaster

Xander (Paul Telfer) has managed to mess up… almost everything around him. His marriage to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) has fallen apart. Largely because of his own mistakes. Titan is now dangerously close to being lost. Again, because of decisions he made. And now he may even have to sell his home. Yet another consequence of everything that has gone wrong.

Before Xander lets frustration push him into doing something reckless over a disaster he largely created himself, Marlena (Deidre Hall) steps in and tries to help him regain control. She may be exactly the person he needs to keep him grounded—and perhaps convince him that moving out of a house is not actually the worst tragedy a person can experience.

Gwen Would Prefer Seeing EJ Defeated Over Accepting His Proposal

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) finds himself under pressure to sell the hospital to Gwen (Emily O’Brien). The problem is simple: EJ has absolutely no desire to hand the hospital over to her.

Instead, he attempts to negotiate a compromise that could potentially give both of them something they want. Unfortunately for EJ, Gwen appears far more interested in watching him lose than in securing an easy victory for herself. If EJ supports something, Gwen seems determined to oppose it.

Philip’s Pretend Engagement to Gabi Could Be Turning Surprisingly Real

Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) used his most convincing desperate expression and persuaded Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) to give him five million dollars so he could enter a high-stakes poker tournament and hopefully win enough money to rescue Titan.

Gabi agreed—but only if she could accompany him inside the casino. To make that possible, Philip introduced her as his fiancée. What began as a convenient lie could now start becoming something much more complicated. Could Philip somehow turn his fake engagement into the real thing?

Cat Must Explain What She Accidentally Revealed to EJ

Marlena hypnotized Cat (AnnaLynne McCord), helping her recover a troubling memory: she once admitted to a comatose EJ that she was working for the ISA. Needless to say, that revelation could create some serious problems.
