In Philip’s mind, the plan may seem like the ultimate solution. Rather than standing by while the Kiriakis empire crumbles, he intends to make one enormous gamble and return to Salem as the hero who rescued the family business. However, there is one major complication. Philip is not playing cards solely because of Titan’s financial problems. His ego, his lifelong insecurities, and his difficult connection to the Kiriakis name are deeply wrapped up in whether he succeeds or fails.
And the upcoming spoilers hint that his confidence could quickly become crushing disappointment.
Philip has spent much of his life feeling as though he never quite measures up.
