The latest Days of our Lives sneak peek reveals a long-awaited family reunion as Marlena finally reconnects with her granddaughter, Sydney. Johnny also gets the chance to reunite with his sister while Sydney makes her way around Salem and catches up with the people closest to her.
It’s All About Sydney
There are only three official sneak peek photos from Days of our Lives for the week of September 21-25, and it appears that Sydney’s (Sydney Malakeh) return to Salem will be one of the biggest highlights.
DAYS spoilers indicate that Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Belle (Martha Madison) quickly become concerned about Sydney after finally seeing her again. The newest preview images offer viewers a first glimpse at what happens during their emotional reunion.
Sydney does not waste much time before making her way to the Brady Pub after returning to town. It is there that she gets to spend some much-needed time with both her grandmother and her aunt.
In one of the sneak peek moments, all three women appear unusually serious. Marlena and Sydney seem focused on Belle while she speaks, suggesting that their conversation may involve something far more important than a simple family catch-up.
Another preview shows Sydney, Belle, and Marlena looking much more relaxed as they smile together. Judging by the way they are positioned, however, the image may actually be closer to a behind-the-scenes photograph than a scene taken directly from an upcoming episode.
The final sneak peek gives fans a look at Johnny (Carson Boatman) spending time with Sydney. Viewers have waited a long time to see Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ’s (Daniel Feuerriegel) children reunited on screen.
Considering the difficult situation Johnny has found himself in because of their father, seeing his younger sister will likely come as a welcome relief. The two spend some time together in Horton Town Square, giving the DiMera siblings an opportunity to reconnect and strengthen their bond.
In the latest DAYS preview video, Sydney directly asks Johnny whether he thinks she should remain in Salem. Johnny tells her that leaving might be the better choice, but there is every reason to believe Sydney may decide not to follow her brother’s warning.
Her return has already brought her face-to-face with several important members of her family, and if the early previews are any indication, Sydney may have far more reasons to stay in Salem than Johnny currently realizes.
